Elsie von Ellern is a beautiful 3-4 year old German Shepherd whose beautiful, alert eyes are always on duty; we suspect she can spot a fly a block away.  New to the rescue, she’s just getting her bearings and, although somewhat shy in new situations, she’s taken to doggie playgroups like a veteran.  She is relaxed and comfortable meeting new dogs as long as they are mannerly, avoiding those who don’t meet her standards.  Elsie enjoys walking next to you and smiles when you find a patch of grass where she can lie down while you pet her.  The more relaxed and comfortable Elsie becomes, she will approach you for attention.  This special girl could easily work part time as a model for toothpaste ads.
